I am making only a few of these with the few chips and switches I have collected over the years. Up for sale is a clone of a 1997 Way Huge MK1 AP-1 Aqua Puss. All my effort put into this pedal is to sonically and visually match the original Aqua Puss that is out of production since 1997.
- The donor enclosure is a brand-new MK2 that was gutted and replaced with a 1:1 circuit and components just like the original. All goodies, including the pins, are included.
- The delay chip is a NOS Panasonic MN3005 just like the original as well for the "mojo."
- NOS MPQ3904, NE571 Compandor, and NOS LF353N.
- I sourced the last few remaining footswitches with the black hat on them for visual perfection.
- The pots are 24mm Alpha pots that have the same turning resistance.
- Knobs are brand new Davies Molding knobs as found on the original.
- The battery function works as well.
